In 2004 Christmas tree planting began. We now have about 6 acres of trees in various stages of growth. 2017 marks our eighth year for sales. We have about 500 trees available in the 5'-10' size range. We will have 3 fields open for "choose & cut" sales. We have "tree wheelers" available for you to bring your tree back to the barn or we can ferry it for you with our utility vehicle. We have added a tree drill and now sell pin-type stands for a perfectly straight tree. We now have a "tree shaker" which will shake off any dead needles, grass or bugs and ensure you have a clean tree to bring into your home. We shake, drill and bale your tree at no added cost.

Woodsedge Tree Farm is the fifth Christmas tree farm to be certified River-Friendly in the state of New Jersey. The Dunne's farm covers 75 acres of permanently preserved forest, fields and wetlands. Six acres are devoted to growing "choose and cut" Christmas trees, surrounded by well-established pollinator habitat. In addition to trees, the couple keep 10 honey bee colonies and a productive pumpkin patch.  Everything they sell on their farm was produced on their farm, from wooden bowls and ornaments handcrafted by Mr. Dunne, to beeswax soap made by Mrs. Dunne.

In the years they have operated their farm, the Dunnes have implemented crop rotation, contour farming, cover cropping and prescribed burns: all practices that reduce soil erosion and protect the quality of the river, while ensuring the sustained productivity of their farm.
